The web has changed dramatically over the last several years, from desktop experiences dominated by one web browser  into a wide variety of ways people can see web content. I make this happen by helping focus on specific business and user goals, maintain a consistency with the big picture and produce a design strategy for delivering usable and enjoyable solutions.

When consulting with clients, I take into account the entirety of the full user experience for all the ways people access the web: desktop PCs, notebooks, tablets or mobile app phones. It’s important to consider content strategy, information architecture, visual and interaction design and help clients understand the direction the market is trending. I balance all those needs for projects with a desire for deceptively simple solutions.

Currently, I’m a web user interface designer for The Vanguard Group, where I work with a team of web professionals to improve the participant user experience at Vanguard.com.

Project Experience

  • Web user interface designer for the Project Management Institute, where I provided visual design direction for PMI.org and related web applications and served as an internal subject matter expert and advocate for user-centered design strategy
  • Designed a new website for Longview Capital Management
  • Created email marketing for GSI Interactive (now True Action)
  • Helped design a new user interface for an Intranet web portal for The Vanguard Group
  • Designed a multimedia online learning center for Deloitte & Touche USA
  • Improved the user interface for Expensewatch.com, an expense management web app
  • Optimized website navigation for better search engine results and designed new email marketing projects for LRA Worldwide
  • Produced local brand campaign projects for the Philadelphia, PA office of PricewaterhouseCoopers
